The Tiny Appetite Kitchen: small-portion, high-protein recipes for life on a GLP-1

It’s here! The Tiny Appetite Kitchen is out today, and I have been sitting on this one for weeks like a kid with a secret. It’s the cookbook I went looking for at week six and couldn’t find anywhere, so I made it, and I’m a little giddy that you can finally have it.

Here’s the problem it solves. The prescription changed your appetite. The recipes didn’t get the memo. Almost everything out there is written for four hungry people, and you are one person with the appetite of a polite houseguest. So you make the normal recipe, eat a third of it, and spend the rest of the week negotiating with leftovers on the second shelf of the fridge.

Meanwhile you’re supposed to be eating enough protein to keep the muscle you’ve got. High protein. Tiny portions. Every day. When nothing sounds good. Nobody wrote the cookbook for that. Now somebody has.

What’s in it

  • 50 recipes, ten each for breakfast, lunch, dinner, snacks and dessert, sized for one or two small servings. Not a big recipe with “halve it” scribbled in the margin. Small from the start.
  • A photo with every recipe, so you know what done looks like before you start.
  • Estimated calories and protein per serving on every page. No targets. Just the numbers, in case you want them.
  • A note on each recipe for making it smaller, or storing the rest without it dying in the fridge.
  • Three shopping lists: a nine-recipe starter cart, a pantry list, and a master list by store section.
  • An at-a-glance index for finding the no-cook, freezer-friendly and meatless recipes fast.

A few of the recipes, so you know the vibe: Soft-Scrambled Eggs with Cottage Cheese and Chives. Small-Pot Chicken Tortilla Soup. Two-Taco Tuesday. Mini Turkey Meatloaf Muffins. Chocolate Cottage Cheese Mousse. Banana Pudding Cups. Nothing needs a culinary degree or a free Sunday. I tested every one of these in my own kitchen with my own very small appetite, and the soup has been on repeat for two years.

What it isn’t

It isn’t a meal plan, a diet, or medical advice. There are no protein targets and no weight-loss promises. Some days you’ll finish the bowl. Some days three bites is dinner. Both count.

The details

It’s a digital cookbook – read it on your phone, tablet, or computer, or print the pages you cook from. You get instant access the moment you buy!

If you make something from it, tell me which one. The soup is the one I keep coming back to.

Dinner is handled.
