Acceptable Use Policy
Last updated: October 13, 2026
The short version
- Use what you buy for yourself.
- Be kind. Nobody here needs a comment about their body, their dose, or their choices.
- No medical advice, no medication swaps, no selling.
- Don’t break, scrape, or copy the site.
Break these rules and we may remove what you posted or close your access.
1. What this policy covers
This policy applies to everything you do with Getting Quiet: the website, the customer library, comments on The Quiet Part, replies to our emails, and comments and messages on our social accounts. It is part of our Terms & Conditions.
2. Keep your purchases to yourself
- Don’t share your library sign-in, your download links, or your files with other people.
- Don’t resell, repost or give away our products, in whole or in part.
- Don’t upload our content to file-sharing sites, group chats, or AI tools.
Want to share a recipe with a friend? Send them a link to the product page instead.
3. Be decent to each other
People come here in the middle of something personal. When you comment or write in, don’t post anything that:
- harasses, threatens, bullies or demeans anyone;
- shames a person for their body, weight, appetite, medication, or how they are choosing to live;
- attacks people for their race, ethnicity, religion, gender, sexual orientation, disability, age, or health;
- is sexually explicit, violent, or hateful;
- shares someone else’s private details, including their health information, without their permission.
4. No medical advice and no medication dealing
Sharing your own experience is welcome. Telling other people what to do with their health is not. Don’t:
- give medical, dosing or prescribing advice, or present yourself as a clinician if you aren’t one;
- offer to buy, sell, trade, split or share prescription medication, or point people to where they can get it without a prescription;
- promote compounded or unapproved products, or miracle cures of any kind.
5. No spam and no selling
- No advertising, affiliate links, coupon codes, or recruiting for sales programs.
- No repeated, off-topic or automated posts.
- No pretending to be someone else, or claiming to speak for Getting Quiet.
6. Don’t break the site
- Don’t try to get into accounts, pages or systems that aren’t yours.
- Don’t probe, scan, or test our security, and don’t get around access controls or payment.
- Don’t use bots, scrapers, or bulk-download tools to copy our content.
- Don’t upload viruses or anything else designed to cause harm.
- Don’t use the Services for anything illegal.
7. What happens if you do
We may remove comments or content, pause or close your library access, block you from the Services, and report illegal activity to the authorities. If we close your access because you broke this policy, you are not entitled to a refund. See our Refund Policy.
We decide what crosses the line, and we would rather be too careful than leave something up that hurts someone.
8. Report a problem
If you see something that breaks these rules, or you think we got a decision wrong, write to support@gettingquiet.com. Tell us where you saw it and what happened.
