Privacy Policy
Last updated: October 13, 2026
The short version
- We collect what you give us (like your name, email and order details) and a little that browsers send automatically.
- We use it to send what you asked for, deliver what you bought, and run the business.
- We don’t sell your personal information.
- You can unsubscribe at any time, and you can ask us to show you, correct, or delete what we hold.
The details are below, in plain language.
1. Who we are
Getting Quiet is a brand of Coviah LLC (“Getting Quiet,” “we,” “us”). This policy covers gettingquiet.com and go.gettingquiet.com, the customer library, our newsletter Low Volume, and our dealings with you by email and on social media. For anything in this policy, write to support@gettingquiet.com.
2. What we collect
Information you give us:
- Newsletter: your first name, last name and email address.
- Purchases: your name, email address, phone number if you provide one, billing details and what you bought. Your card details go straight to our payment processor. We never see or store your full card number.
- Library account: your email address and sign-in details, and a record of what you have access to.
- Messages and comments: what you write to us by email, and the name, email address, comment and IP address submitted with a comment on the site.
- Social media: if you comment on or message our Instagram or Facebook accounts, we receive your profile name and your message, and you may get an automated reply.
Information collected automatically: your IP address, browser and device type, the pages you view, the page that sent you here, and the date and time. Some of this is collected with cookies, described below.
3. Health information
We don’t ask for health information, and you never need to share any to read, subscribe, or buy. Please don’t send us medical records. If you choose to tell us something about your health in an email, a comment, or a message, we use it only to reply to you, and we don’t use it for advertising.
4. How we use your information
- to send the newsletter and the emails you asked for;
- to take payment, deliver your purchase, and give you access to your library;
- to answer your questions and help with orders;
- to understand what people read and buy, so we can make the Services better;
- to measure and improve our advertising;
- to prevent fraud and abuse, and to keep the Services secure;
- to meet our legal, tax and accounting obligations.
If you are in the European Economic Area or the United Kingdom, our legal grounds are your consent (for example, the newsletter), our contract with you (your purchases), our legitimate interests in running and improving the business, and our legal obligations.
5. Cookies and similar technology
Cookies are small files a website stores in your browser. We use:
- Essential cookies that keep the site, sign-in and checkout working and protect our forms from bots.
- Measurement and advertising tools. Our forms, checkout pages and library are provided by HighLevel, and those pages may load tools such as the Meta (Facebook) pixel, which help us see how people find us and may be used to show you our ads elsewhere.
You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings. The site will still work, although sign-in and checkout may not. You can also manage ad preferences in your Facebook and Instagram account settings.
6. Who we share it with
We share information only with companies that help us run Getting Quiet, and only what they need to do their job:
- HighLevel (LeadConnector): our contact list, email sending, forms, checkout pages, customer library and website hosting.
- Stripe: payment processing.
- Cloudflare: security and bot protection on forms.
- Meta (Facebook and Instagram): our social accounts and ad measurement.
- Google: web fonts used on some pages.
We may also share information when the law requires it, to protect people’s safety or our rights, or as part of a sale or reorganization of the business, in which case this policy continues to apply to your information.
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not give it to data brokers.
7. How long we keep it
- Newsletter details: until you unsubscribe. After that we keep your email address on a do-not-email list, so we don’t email you again, unless you ask us to delete it.
- Order records: for as long as tax and accounting rules require, usually seven years.
- Library accounts: for as long as your account is open.
- Messages and comments: for as long as we need them to help you, or until you ask us to delete them.
8. Your choices and rights
- Unsubscribe with the link at the bottom of any marketing email.
- Ask us for a copy of the personal information we hold about you, or ask us to correct or delete it.
- Object to how we use your information, or ask us to limit it.
To use any of these, write to support@gettingquiet.com from the email address we have on file, so we know it’s you. We will answer within the time the law requires, usually within 30 days, and we won’t treat you differently for asking. Depending on where you live, for example California and several other U.S. states, the European Economic Area, or the United Kingdom, you may have additional rights, including the right to complain to your local data protection authority. Some records, such as proof of a purchase, we have to keep by law.
9. Keeping it safe
We use reputable providers and limit who can see your information. No website or email system is perfectly secure, so we can’t promise absolute security. If something goes wrong that affects you, we will tell you as the law requires.
10. Where your information is processed
We are based in the United States, and so are most of our providers. If you use the Services from another country, your information will be processed in the United States, where privacy laws may be different from those where you live.
11. Children
The Services are for adults. We don’t knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18. If you believe a child has given us information, write to us and we will delete it.
12. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy as the business or the law changes. The date at the top shows the latest version. If a change is significant, we will tell you by email or with a notice on the site.
